This is a two-part collaborative workshop for writers and photographers led by the editors of Call*Response: Volume One. It is being held at Millenium Libray. Space is limited and registration is on a first-come basis. Participants should be over 18 years of age, beginners are welcome, bring your camera, writing instruments, and be willing to share your work.
Part 1 – June 4, local author John Toone leads the writers through exercises to make their words sing (or scream) while Michael Sanders shares
his insighst with the photographers into shooting live music and crowds.
Part 2 – June 11, writers and photographers unite to mash-up their ideas into a rockin’ public art display featuring potential spreads for Call*Response: Volume Two.
